Pohoda will welcome a powerful theatre production from Ukraine. KRYLA Foundation, in partnership with the Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theatre named after Mykola Kulish, will present On the Wings of Dreams.
What does a child's voice sound like in a country that has endured more than four years of war? On the Wings of a Dream is a moving musical and poetic performance by young artists from Ukraine's Kherson region, who continue to dream, create and hope despite the realities of life in a frontline city.
Blending songs, poetry and theatre into a single stage composition, the performance tells a story of courage, resilience and the power of imagination. Through music and spoken word, these talented young performers – winners and participants of national Ukrainian arts competitions and festivals – share their own experiences and their belief in a peaceful future.
On the Wings of a Dream is an artistic testimony of a generation of Ukrainian children who continue to sing, create and believe despite the war. It is a celebration of the resilience of the human spirit, the strength of Ukrainian culture and the hope that connects people across borders.
