Stand-up: Joke's On You  ^US/GB

After a hugely successful debut last year, the English-language stand-up show Joke's On You is returning to Pohoda. This year's line-up features three seasoned comedians from across the English-speaking world – Alan Henderson (USA), Jack Holmes (UK) and Grant Gallacher (Scotland).

Born in Mississippi, Alan Henderson grew up knocking on doors as a Jehovah's Witness before becoming one of the pioneers of English-language stand-up comedy in Slovakia. For more than a decade, he has been performing around the world, drawing on personal stories, cultural differences and the absurdities of everyday life.

Jack Holmes has been a key figure on the Vienna comedy scene for over ten years. Known for his high-energy performances, he combines self-deprecating humour, cross-cultural observations and just the right amount of absurdity to keep audiences laughing throughout his sets.

Representing Scotland is Grant Gallacher, a finalist for Scottish Comedian of the Year and the resident host of Prague's Metro Comedy Club, Central Europe's only dedicated English-language comedy club. Fresh from a sold-out European tour, Grant continues to perform across the continent and jokes that he's only moments away from burnout. According to his mum, however, he's still "a funny and handsome young man."

If you're looking for sharp observations, cultural humour and plenty of laughs, Joke's On You is back at Pohoda with another outstanding line-up.
