Dušan Vlk

Dušan Vlk  SK

A distinctive voice of the contemporary Czech-Slovak underground, Dušan Vlk, is returning to Pohoda 2026. The Eastern Slovak artist, born Denis, will bring his latest and most personal project to date, EAST SIDE SOLITUDE, to Trenčín Airport.

Dušan Vlk is part of a wave of punk/emo-rap artists who have emerged from the depths of the local alternative scene in recent years. Under the alias “Prešovské knieža” (The Prince of Prešov), he openly references his roots, blending bleak, melancholic and dark moods with honest reflections on the life of a young generation in post-communist Central Europe. His songs explore both personal and social themes, moving freely across genres—without strict boundaries, yet consistently filtered through a distinctive lo-fi aesthetic.

A key figure in his musical universe is producer David, his long-time collaborator and “musical brother,” who stands behind most of the project’s signature instrumentals. Together they create a raw yet sensitive sound, oscillating between intimate confession and a generational manifesto.

At Pohoda, audiences will hear not only new tracks from EAST SIDE SOLITUDE, but also older material from the album Duša Undergroundu and projects such as Babie leto v podzemí and Korporát. “Dušan Vlk follows his own path—dark, vulnerable, yet all the more authentic. When you listen to his songs, you feel the full spectrum of emotions. Live, they become even more intense—his show is an experience that, once you’ve had it, you’ll want to relive every time he performs near you,” says Lukáš Grešš from the Pohoda team, inviting audiences to his Pohoda 2026 performance.
