Trenčín sa mení, buď pri tom! SK

Trenčín is changing, be part of it!

What do you think of when you hear the word Trenčín? The city of fashion? The castle? Pohoda? All these terms have something in common – they belong to what we call cultural and creative industries. However, it is not just about culture and creativity, as it may seem at first glance. Rather, it is a complex web of relationships between art and culture, the various creative industries, and also tourism, urbanism and gastronomy. If properly planned and nurtured, this connection can bring the city and its residents not only more jobs and financial resources, but also high-quality public spaces, a wide range of cultural offerings for all, and sustainable urban governance.

In the discussion, we will discuss why Trenčín decided to invest in this area and how winning the title of European Capital of Culture and creating two cultural and creative centres – Hviezda and Fab lab – will transform Trenčín into a high-quality place to work and relax.
