Can you imagine a combination of post-punk, lo-fi electronica, acting and performance? Because that's exactly what the Ukrainian band Ragapop is. It's a side project of Ruslana Khazipova and Anna Nikitina from the band Dakh Daughters (also coming to Pohoda 2023), who have also invited Anton Ocheretyanyy to join them.
Their first EP Siasya was critically acclaimed in Ukraine and earned them nominations for several music awards. Their single Gordosti was also featured on the Wo' Pop show on KEXP Radio, dedicated to new up-and-coming artists from Ukraine.
Their performances blend the energy of Ukrainian culture with mysticism and eroticism that will captivate you, no matter what language they sing in. It is a sophisticated performance both musically and visually. Their musical performance at Pohoda 2023 is sure to be a powerful experience.
