Karpatské chrbáty SK
The Slovak legendary band Karpatské chrbáty is returning to Trenčín Airport. This alternative rock band from Vrbové was formed in 1982 under the name Harmasan and later renamed to VEGET. However, in 1986, at the request of the local cultural center, they changed their name a second time to Karpatské chrbáty. The band of Braňo Jobus, who is an integral part of Pohoda Festival, has been performing for 41 years and has released 10 albums.
“Braňo Jobus and his unbreakable alternative rockers from Vrbové. The concert will be dedicated to Kusík – their guitarist, who sadly passed away last year. The band dealt with it in the best possible way, Kusík is still with them and I recommend going to see how the band worked it out. And those who know Braňo from his fairy tales, TV series, and other projects – discover where it all comes from... Welcome back, dear friends,” Pohoda Festival director Michal Kaščák is looking forward to their performance.
Café Kušnierik Porgramme at Pohoda Festival was funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through EEA Grants under the Keeping up the Freedom project. The project was co-financed from the state budget of the Slovak Republic. www.eeagrants.sk.
