Ben Howard GB

We bring world-famous singer, songwriter and composer Ben Howard to Pohoda 2023. This Londoner (but Liverpool FC fan) became famous right away with his debut album Every Kingdom (2011), which skyrocketed his career. You definitely know the biggest hits from this album – Only Love, Old Pine and Keep Your Head Up. The high sales of his debut LP earned him a Double Platinum in the UK, and he won two BRIT Awards right from his debut. This opened the door to one of the most famous festivals in the world, Glastonbury, where he performed right on the main Pyramid stage.

Ben Howard has released four studio albums to date. His latest album Collections from the Whiteout, released in 2021, was produced by Aaron Dessner of the band The National and, like Ben's three previous albums, received positive reviews from critics and fans alike. When he wrote the lyrics for this album, he was inspired by newspaper headlines and articles. You can find references to a story about Russian con artist Anna Sorokin (Sorry Kid), or a Seattle man who crashed a stolen plane (The Strange Last Flight Of Richard Russell).

We have tried several times to bring Ben to Pohoda, and we are glad that we finally succeeded. We guarantee that the atmosphere of his performance will leave no one cold. Be sure to come and sing his beautiful songs together with him.
