The queen of Slovak drum&bass is best known for the song Beautiful Lies, which has left its Slovak mark on the worldwide dance scene forever. Matia, who is behind the project, has played concerts from Stropkov to New Zealand.
Her music and lifestyle combine elegance with humour. She has invested her DJ privilege in the fight for LGBTI+ rights and is one of the most uncompromising advocates for those who have been discriminated against. This is reflected in her music – her track Past Lessons For The Future was the Single of the Year at the Radio_Head Awards 2016 and she was also honoured by minister and freedom fighter Ján Budaj.
Matia also recommended this year's jungletek queen Mandidextrous, who will also play a set on Thursday night.
B-complex has performed at Pohoda several times and all of her shows have been special in some way – whether by adding special visual effects, a dragon dance show, burlesque or a joint performance with Vladimir 518. We believe that she will surprise and enchant us with her show again this year.
