Airport in Trenčín is the ideal combination of grass and rubbed concrete. All spaces where we expect bigger numbers of visitors are located on the concrete, or in tents with flooring so there will not be any mud or dust. Main communication zones are planned on the concrete as well, i. e. also during the rain you can participate in all Festival attractions and your feet won’t get wet. You can also use lot of green spaces for active (frisbee, ball games, …) or passive relax.
It is forbidden to shoot the performances on video or other format (film, DV , DV Cam, Beta, ...) – except the accredited film crews.
This year our Festival will be even greener than the previous year. Thanks to the cooperation with the company ENVI PAK and organization Priatelia Zeme – SPZ we are the only Slovak Festival with the recyclable waste management. Therefore we would like to ask you all to actively participate in our effort. Otherwise we will not be able to fulfil our main aim – to take to the waste dump as little waste as possible and in this way reduce the negative influence of our Festival on the environment. This year we are going to continue with separation of plastics, paper and metals. There will be marked waste containers stands around the whole Festival’s area. We would like to ask you all to use the waste containers for recyclable materials as often as possible and not to litter. If the closest container is full, please, throw the rubbish to or close to the container (or inform us – info at the end of the text). All waste containers are marked with signs. Please, read the signs on containers and rubbish bins which you want to throw the rubbish in carefully so you do not throw the unrecyclable waste to the containers for recyclable waste. Each tent will get 2 plastic bags. One will be for recyclable waste (plastics, paper, metal), second one will be for other waste. We kindly ask you to tighten the plastic bags and take them to the closest barrel or container or to leave them on the spot. If you do not get the bags or you fill them up, please, contact the voluntaries in the area of camping site. Waste bins and containers are for: empty plastic glasses and bottles (without any drink left, ideally pressed), clean plastic bags, plastic wraps, all kinds of paper, tins, cans and so on. ... Please, into the containers for recyclable waste, do NOT THROW: dirty – used desposable dishes and cutlery, glasses and bottles with big amount of drink, dirty paper, used napkins, wrappings from biscuits, candies, ... and other unsuitable waste. We would like to ask you to throw other mixed waste and dirty waste which do not belong into recyclable waste bins and containers into other trash bags and containers. Waste collected in bags and bigger containers for recyclable waste will be additionally separated and then recycled. You can obtain further information from the representatives of companies and organizations which cooperate with us and which will be taking care of the cleanness and waste collection at the Festival (they will be marked), or you will be able to get information from leaflets. We will be thankful if you inform us about the full containers, dirty places but we will also be glad if you let us know your opinions, comments, etc.
The date of the Festival is carefully chosen for the middle of the summer holiday. This time is typical for sunny and warm weather. You can find the forecast on the web page of the organizer, www.pohodafestival.sk. If the weather is not nice, we will provide the cover for all essential parts of the Festival’s area. Due to the safety reasons visitors are not allowed to bring umbrellas to the Festival, therefore we advise to bring anorak and/or rubber waterproof shoes.
