Amadinda – the world‘s top percussion group - will play Steve Reich / 18. 04. 2010
Hungarian ensemble Amadinda has existed for 26 years now and during this time the original project formed by 4 graduates of the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music has become one of the best percussion orchestras. In the world of classical music Amadinda really means something; they have cooperated with many world famous composers and musicians. On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the composition Mallet Quartet was composed for them by Steve Reich, the pioneer of minimalist music and one of the most acknowledged living composers. We are proud that Amadinda will play Mallet Quartet in Slovak premiere at Bažant Pohoda 2010.
