During Pohoda Day_FM, the festival announced additional names and programmes to complement the already stellar lineup of the 2024 edition. This includes Queens of the Stone Age, Peggy Gou, Morcheeba, Pendulum, Skepta, James Blake, Black Pumas, Thievery Corporation, Richard Müller, and Arlo Parks.

The beloved favourite of Pohoda attendees, Donny Benét, will return to Trenčín Airport in July. This Australian showman, great musician, and nonchalant charmer will perform this year with his charismatic post-disco show. Donny Benét can win everyone over from the very first note, and has an unparalleled knack for blending disco, funk, and soul, all infused with an infectious positive energy.

Jana Kirschner will showcase her latest album Obyčajnosti at this year's Pohoda Festival. With the album, she has already sold out tours in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and you will also be able to enjoy this great concert exclusively at Pohoda. Musicians from the UK, France, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia will unite on one stage to demonstrate the exceptional and modern sounds of Slovak music. Joining Janka's band are, among others, Mad Mad Mad, known for their collaborations with Róisín Murphy. The album was produced by Eddie Stevens (Zero 7, Moloko, Róisín Murphy, Sia).

"Pohoda is an island of freedom for me, it is a family that understands me and always welcomes me with open arms. That's why we decided to present Obyčajnosti in this absolutely unique line-up once again in Trenčín, even to those who haven't had the chance to see it," adds Janka Kirschner about the concert at Pohoda.

Czech singer and producer REDZED will bring a fusion of hard rap and metal to Pohoda. With a diamond record under his belt, he stands as one of the most listened-to Czech musicians on Spotify, with almost 1.5 million monthly listeners. He sings in English, so his music has gained international popularity. It's also worth mentioning that he handles all production himself. His concerts are legendary, full of rawness, authenticity, and an intense energy.

The queen of Slovak dnb, B-complex, will showcase her most spectacular show yet. A troupe of fantastic and talented showgirls will take care of the visual experience, while musically, B-complex will build on collaborations, remixes, and her classics, alongside guests from the Slovak music Olympus. Juraj Benetin will perform a live B-complex’ version of "Za Sklom," and she will build on her collaboration with Para for Werich's "Past Lessons for the Future." In addition to the classics, she will showcase her latest songs, sang live by the British star Rhi Evans, also known as Reebz. On the mic, the entire cabaret will be hosted by the legendary MC Fava.

The Slovak National Theatre is coming to Pohoda to perform “Budete mať luft!”, which documents the tragic events in the village of Pobedim in 1928. It is an artistic reflection on a tragedy that has been kept in silence for almost a hundred years now. A tragedy caused by prejudices that are still alive today. The cast includes Richard Stanke, Barbora Andrešičová, Monika Hilmerová and Peter Ondrejička.

The theatre and performance programme also includes Silné Reči, Dance Studio Theatre, Stoka Theatre, Eva Šušková a Peter Mazalán, Ceren Oran & Moving Borders, Tanečno, Kiki House of Velvet, and Adam Dragun. And, naturally, there will also be a children's theatre programme, which the organisers will announce in a few weeks' time.

“I'm thrilled to unveil exclusive performers for Pohoda on public Rádio FM – this time ranging from the Slovak National Theatre to the Australian showman, Donny Benét.
Much like this free radio station, Pohoda joins the world in celebrating diversity, tolerance, and human creativity. We deeply value our longstanding collaboration with RTVS, particularly Rádio FM, which plays an invaluable role in supporting the Slovak music scene,”
adds Michal Kaščák from Pohoda.

During Pohoda Day_FM at Rádio_FM, we also announced the winner of this year's Pohoda Visual Art Contest: Diana Paulová and her site-specific object. This winning creation will be featured on the Visual Stage, which showcases contemporary art at the festival.

"The artwork's subject is the tent peg, which the artist magnifies to monumental proportions. It offers a humorous yet poignant tribute to a seemingly insignificant object that is absolutely essential for the festival's operation. This universal object, though inexpensive, holds immeasurable value in constructing temporary homes; it fosters a special sense of solidarity and coexistence in the temporary festival home among festival-goers who share and borrow these pins. The piece's reference to home, nomadism, temporary refuge, and chosen place for living resonates strongly and is highly relevant in our current social context of migration and also post-election discourse on relocation – whether to go or stay – and where to settle, even if only temporarily. Diana Paulová’s work is an excellent response to our current experiences. With its site- and context-specific nature, it holds the potential to become a Pohoda Festival landmark,” adds Lenka Kuricová, Artistic Director of ECC Trenčín 2026 and a juror of the Visual Art Contest.

The organisers have also announced that all the artists who performed at Pohoda Day_FM will also perform at Pohoda in July. The festival's music programme has been expanded to include Vojtik, the current winner of the Radio_Head Award for Debut of the Year; Bratislava's iconic band Pigúra, who will return to the stage after a long break; and promising singers Erika Rein and Tamara Kramar.

The organisers will continue announcing more names from (not only) the musical programme in the coming days. However, it already looks like an extraordinary edition, which starts in 65 days at Trenčín Airport.
